Located in the North East of England, Teesport is the UK’s sixth largest port and currently supports around 22,000 jobs, contributes in excess of £1.4 billion to the UK economy every year and is a vital link to the North East.

The port dates back to the early 19th century, and by 1850 was supporting the local discovery of ironstone in the Cleveland Hills. In 1907, the port was handling around 1.75 million tons of iron.

When containerisation came along in the 1960’s, the port was able to adapt and receive container ships for the first time.

The port has been owned by PD Ports since 1995.

Teesport is connected to the port community system Destin8, Global Container Services has direct links to this system allowing us full visibility to the clearance progress, this enables us to process your Felixstowe import shipments quickly and efficiently.

We also contract with key road hauliers, allowing us to offer a full clearance and delivery service regardless of your needs and destination.
