London Gateway port opened in November 2013 and is located on the north bank of the River Thames near Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.

The port is owned by DP World and is a semi-automated facility using electric powered equipment to move containers from ship to shore, and onto road vehicles and rail.

The current annual capacity of the port is 3.5 million TEU’s (twenty-foot equivalent containers).

The port has excellent links to the South East, Midlands and North via road, and to the Midlands and North by rail.

London Gateway is connected to the port community system CNS, Global Container Services has direct links to this system allowing us full visibility of the clearance progress, this enables us to process your London Gateway import shipments quickly and efficiently.

We also contract with key road hauliers and rail companies, allowing us to offer a full clearance and delivery services regardless of your needs and destination.
